We are delighted that legislation.gov.uk won the best ICT-enabled innovation and enterprise category at the recent UK Public Sector Digital Awards. Legislation.gov.uk was joint winner with the NHS North Central London Cluster Procurement Cooperative - NHS Camden Shared Services.
As digital publishing matures, much is made of content reuse. Rather than thinking in terms of books or even websites, increasingly content can be conceived of and delivered as a service. This service may be delivered via many formats open to us. Whatever the delivery method, content is the constant.
TSO has been working with The National Archives to update the system for consolidation of legislation and automate the identification of changes. It's a complex project that uses TSO's OpenUp

A distinguished panel of judges, including Professor Nigel Shadbolt, had a tough decision to make when judging the shortlisted ideas for TSO's OpenUp contest. The OpenUp final brought together seminar sessions on the challenges and benefits of opening up data with the announcement of the winning idea from Tony Hirst.
